Collection of Data

We only retain information collected directly from you, via our website or through contact via telephone or email. We store and have access to your booking details via our electronic booking system. 

 

We may collect data when you contact us to make an enquiry by phone, email, text or otherwise.

Data is also collected; on our website by the use of cookies; via our enquiry form online; when you subscribe to our newsletter via our website; when you complete and return the enquiry form on our website and when you complete and return the booking form; when contact is made to you by us via email or telephone.

 

What data do we collect: 

When you make an enquiry or reservation with us the data collected may include your name, address, email address, telephone number, contact details, names and contact details of other people in the party if relevant, age of other guests if relevant, holiday dates, how payment will be made/was made.

 

We also collect additional information to help provide guests with a better experience such as number and size of dogs and any personal preferences or requests for your stay. You can ask for this additional information to be deleted immediately after your stay.

 

Use of your data 

We use your data to allow us to provide you, the holiday maker, with a means of renting and paying for holiday accommodation; to communicate with you about your booking and to send you marketing & promotional emails should you opt into this service by subscribing to our Newsletter via our website; offering you a personalised service and to enhance your stay by noting and fulfilling your requirements. 

 

We use your data to improve our business offer to you and to fulfil our legal obligations. We will not pass your details on to third parties for marketing purposes unless you have expressly asked us to do so. We will only disclose data to third parties to the extent that it is necessary to run our business or comply with law (for example by court order or for the purposes of prevention of crime).

For tax purposes the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for 7 years after they stop being customers.

Your data is held on paper and computer records in the business premises, which are locked when vacant. It is not passed to any third parties, except when required to by legal authorities. 

 

We take appropriate and proportionate measures to secure your personal information and data and to protect it against unlawful use and/or accidental loss. Access to data is held by and limited to the partners of Dogs Love Holidays (Michael Meech and Mandy Locks).

Provision of this information is subject to you providing us with appropriate evidence of your identity.  You also have a right to request to have your personal data corrected; have your data removed or restrict or object to the processing of your data.

 

We only send marketing emails to people who have opted into this service by subscribing to our Newsletter via our website. Marketing & Promotional e-mails will provide a link at the end of the e-mail to unsubscribe from that service.
